Greetings Community and County Partners,

On behalf of the Santa Cruz County Probation Department, I warmly invite you and the local community to attend an informational Town Hall regarding community interest in developing Least Restrictive Program (LRP) opportunities to support justice involved youth being served locally.  On 10/8/24, our Secure Youth Treatment Facility program was approved by the Board of Supervisors (BOS) and community members expressed interest in exploring LRPs in lieu of a local Ranch Camp Program. The BOS authorized this Town Hall to explore community driven ideas for LRPs.

We appreciate your input as we work to enhance our services for youth and the broader community, and we welcome your feedback during this Town Hall on Least Restrictive Programming alternatives to continue to improve outcomes for our Court ordered youth. It is important to ensure that we continue to strengthen and foster a supportive environment for youth and their future reentry to our community. We look forward to seeing you and hearing your valuable insights.
