Capital Projects
The Capital Project Division of General Services provides project management as well as real property acquisition and management services for the County of Santa Cruz.
The GSD Project Management team is responsible for overseeing and managing various infrastructure projects for all County departments. With a primary focus on managing design-build, repair, or infrastructure improvements, each project is carefully planned, procured, undertaken, and monitored to meet regulatory requirements as well as strict quality standards.
The GSD Real Property team is responsible for management and acquiring real estate. This includes locating, purchasing, and overseeing the land and properties needed for infrastructure development. Serving the interests of the County and the public it serves, this division makes sure that all real estate transactions are carried out effectively and transparently.
We prioritize efficient communication and collaboration to meet goals. Working closely with stakeholders, local residents, contractors, engineers, and government organizations, we strive to complete projects within budget, and in accordance with community requirements.
