Santa Cruz Probation Internship Program
Work in the adult division, juvenile division, or the juvenile hall to gain practical experience in the criminal justice field working with other probation staff, partnering agencies, and clients.
You must be at least 18 years old, attend an intern orientation, be able to pass a background check, and finger printing is required. A minimum of three months is required with a weekly commitment of 8 - 10 hours.
Our Internship Program is currently full. We will be scheduling the next intern orientation in the summer/fall of 2025 so please check this site periodically. You must attend an orientation as a requirement and part of the application process. At the orientation, the program will be explained in depth, and you will be provided with applications. Karla will respond to your email by confirming your registration and provide the exact location as well as instructions regarding the items you will need to bring with you.
