What about a LAND BOUNDARY ADJUSTMENT?

This is a type of split/combination which is routinely requested by neighbors wishing to exchange portions of their property. For information about boundary adjustments you should consult a land surveyor or title company. In order to process a land boundary adjustment the applicant will also need approval from the Planning Department (City or County).

Did you know?

Santa Cruz was one of the first counties in California to convert from paper maps to electronic maps.

Our cadastral drafters have to be map experts and computer whizzes in order to keep up with an ever changing technology.

This pamphlet, produced by the Tax Cycle Team explains how to split, combine, or adjust you property's boundary.
