Countywide Traffic Count Baseline |

The County of Santa Cruz conducts vehicular traffic volume counts along unincorportated roads throughout the County of Santa Cruz. The traffic counts are used to determine the average daily traffic (ADT) which is the volume of vehicles counted over a given time period. The ADT is necessary for presenting a countywide picture of traffic flow, evaluating traffic trends, funding for maintenance and improvements.
