By June 2025, Probation pre-arraignment (pretrial) release recommendations will increase by 35 percent to improve equitable paths for release and advance pretrial practices.

Fully implement Pretrial Expeditor position embedded at the Main Jail for early identification of eligible individuals being booked into custody. Meet monthly with jail staff to enhance collaboration with Corrections and get real time (data) lists of individuals booked into custody. Develop process with the Public Defender's Early Rep/Holistic Team to offer voluntary supportive services for individuals that enhances release supports. Create outreach, forms, documents and reports to support this enhanced process.
