Emergency Exercises

By June 2025, OR3 will lead two tabletop and two functional emergency management exercises to improve County and partner agencies disaster preparedness, response and recovery with key County departments and agency partners (including testing of a new earthquake hazard plan and Alert and Warning tool).

Convene a training and exercise committee of key departments. Develop an earthquake hazard annex through integrated process with participating departments. Schedule and host training exercises at the Emergency Operations Center. Perform an emergency management exercise using the updated Emergency Operations Plan in 2024.
