Master Plan on Aging

By June 2024, Human Services and the County Administrative Office, in collaboration with partners, will conduct a Community Needs Assessment that surveys at least 1,000 residents, with representation from underserved populations, to inform the Master Plan on Aging.

Engage key stakeholders, including city and community representatives, and County department heads. In partnership with a community engagement consultant, form a cross-sector steering committee to advise in the development of a culturally informed Community Needs Assessment. Through the consultant, conduct a Community Needs Assessment that includes focus group sessions to identify community needs and gaps. Based on Community Needs Assessment, develop an action plan and data dashboard to measure progress.
