Vacation Rentals

By June 2025, CDI-Planning will support housing options by implementing a Vacation Rental Enforcement Program to reduce the number of unpermitted short term rentals by 25 percent and enforce on problematic permitted rentals.

Define and launch Vacation Rental Enforcement Program, partners, and data-sharing mechanisms. Connect and work with impacted members of the community to strengthen reporting and improve compliance efforts. Identify possible candidates for permit revocation and Work with the Development Review team to establish a process for permit revocation. Track complaints, violations, revocations and resolutions to monitor the effectiveness of the program and identify areas for improvement.
