Internship Program

By December 2024, the Auditor-Controller-Treasurer-Tax Collector will host up to four interns from local colleges to promote the County as an employer and also to provide a foot in the door opportunity for local students to gain valuable experience.

Attend College and Career Fairs to promote the County and specifically the Auditor-Controller's Office as an excellent local employer. Work with Personnel on onboarding student worker/interns for Summer internships, including developing selection criteria. Develop meaningful and major-related projects for the interns to work on during their time with the County, which also benefit the County. Report internally on the results and continue the program in the following year.
