Unoccupied Properties

By June 2025, the Agricultural Commissioner will increase by 10 percent calls from realtors and property management companies responsible for unoccupied properties to increase reporting and mitigate vector-related public health issues.

Edit database to include a "realtor/property management/HOA" category under "referrals". Determine baseline by reviewing database to re-code and count calls that came in from realtors or property management companies. Coordinate with the Santa Cruz County Association of Realtors and local property management companies to share services (i.e. mailer, distribute our magnets, etc.) and connect with septic tank operators. Query database to record how many calls from property management companies or realtors have come in since outreach.
