Debt Reduction

By June 2023, Child Support Services will increase the number of customers participating in the Debt Reduction Program by 10% greater than the prior State Fiscal Year annual period (July through June).

Implement a Debt Reduction Program focused on a parent’s financial ability to pay support rather than the outstanding balance of State-owed arrears. Notify participants about program eligibility, outreaching to Courts, Veterans' groups, the Workforce Development Board, and other partner agencies. Measure number of applications approved for the Debt Reduction Program; and calculate annual percentage increase in customer participants.
