Determine baseline data for traffic related injuries and fatalities involving bicyclists and pedestrians within a half-mile radius of the eight identified elementary schools. Provide bilingual bicycle and pedestrian education programming, measuring student knowledge and teacher satisfaction surveys. Conduct crash data analysis to determine the numbers of traffic-related injuries and fatalities involving bicyclists and pedestrians. Promote Vision Zero for County and other jurisdictions to increase local policies that promote walking and biking to school.
