Efficient Water Use

By June 2023, the Agricultural Extension will work with Pajaro Valley growers to reduce water use by 2,500 acre feet per year.

Work with growers, both individually and in groups to implement water efficiency-flow meters, use of evapotranspiration models (such as Crop Manage) and soil moisture monitoring.	Clearly communicate, via extension meetings, direct contacts, and extension materials such as paper brochures and website information, the benefits and how to's of water efficiency implementation.
